Separate sections for Open, Seniors, Intermediate (Newincreased upper limit - under 750 MPs), Restricted (under 300 MPs) and Novice (under 100 MPs). (Change for 2013 - Seniors, Intermediate, Restricted and Novice will play 3-board rounds in the Qualifying sessions.)

26-28 Feb		 Teams Championship Comprising 12 x 14-board matches for all sections. Separate sections for Open, Seniors, Intermediate (New increased upper limit - under 750 MPs), Restricted (under 300 MPs) and Novice (under 100 MPs).
Matches:New Earlier starting time in 2013 - 10.30am each day (4 matches per day), finish by 6.45pm.

1 Mar		 Seres/McMahon Mixed Teams Comprises 6 matches over 2 sessions - 10.30am and 3.00pm. Finishes 6.30pm. Each pair must be mixed i.e. one male and one female from each team at each table.
  Friday One Day Teams Comprises 6 matches over 2 sessions - 10.30am and 3.00pm. Finishes 6.30pm.
  Friday Novice Pairs 2 sessions - 10.30am and 3.00pm. Finishes 6.30pm.

1-2 Mar		 Ivy Dahler Swiss Butler Pairs Comprises 10 matches over 3 sessions - Friday 1.00pm (4 matches, session finishing 5.30pm) and 7.30pm (3 matches, finishing 10.45pm), and Saturday 10.30am (3 matches, finishing 2.00pm). Open and restricted sections. Separate NS and EW field in Open, with Ivy Dahler Trophy going to the pair with the highest percentage.
  Teams Finals Open Round-of-Four for 3rd to 6th places - Friday 9.30am (2 x 12-board matches)
Open Semi-Finals for 1st and 2nd and top two from Round-of-four - Friday 2.00pm (4 x 10-board matches)
Open Finals for top 2 from Semi-finals - Saturday 9.00am (4 x 12-board matches);
Seniors' Finals for top 2 at the end of Match 12 - Friday 10.00am (4 x 12-board matches)
Novice, Restricted and Intermediate Finals for top 2 at the end of Match 12 - Friday 10.00am (New4 x 12-board matches - change in 2013)

2 Mar		 Dinner Dance A popular climax to the week. Attendees will be invited to register for this event during the week. The cost will vary depending on how many events you play in, with the fee as low as $10 a head.

Holiday Walk-in Pairs

Players can play in any one, two or three sessions in any of the 2 Ecelectic walk-in events, and each session will have voucher prizes. There will also be an overall prize in each event, for the best finishing pairs playing in all three sessions of the event. The two events are independent of each other.

  • Event 1: Tue 26 Feb, Wed 27 Feb, Thu 28 Feb, starting 10.30am each day
  • Event 2: Fri 1 Mar at 10.30am and 3.00pm, Sat 2 Mar at 10.30am
